Fruit - Sweet Cherries, Sour Cherries, Raspberrys, Blackberrys, Clapp, Bartlet and Bosc Pears and assorted Raspberry Jams and Pear Butter About Us Mathias farms is a third generation farm that is currently run by Tom Mathias and Beth Secord. Brother and sister team. We grow sweet cherries, sour cherries, Clapp, Bartlett and Bosc pears. We also offer pick your own on a few crops...cherries and raspberries. Mom and Dad gifted the farm to us when they moved to Jamaica in 1974. Dad is now back on the family farm growing the most awesome vegetables in his retirement. Browse through our Products for Sale Practices (our standards for raising or making our products) We grow using an integrated pest management system(IPM). This means we use the least harmful products, we use them only as needed and have reduced our use of products by 20% over conventional methods. Additional Information We have just expanded our fresh marketing for our pears due to the lost of the cannery in St. David. So far we have been well received and well supported. |
