certified organic chicken, naturally raised chicken, naturally raised turkey About Us John and Carol Fennema and their daughter Julie raise their chickens at Fenwood Farms in Ancaster. Organic chickens are given double the space that is required for conventional chicken and they are given access to outside. Both the organic and naturally raised chickens are completely drug free. Their immune systems are built up naturally by giving the birds probiotics, vitamins, minerals and vaccines. All chickens are fed corn and roasted soybeans as their main protein source. The organic chickens are fed only grains that are certified organic and GMO free. The birds are custom processed in a certified organic plant.
